Booking Information

The Notables of OKC, a 501(c)(3) organization, will be referred to as the "group." The group is a senior show choir with a full band. Between 60 and 70 active members perform the music of the 1960s. 

Booking Criteria: 

· Contact gdpj53@gmail.com  to book the group. Bookings will be made only through authorized personnel of any venue/event.

·   Although there is no cost for group performances, honorariums are welcome. Tax-deductible receipts for monetary contributions are available upon request. Donations from audience members are also appreciated.

·   There must be an adequate room/stage to accommodate the size of the group. There must be no visual obstacles between the group and the audience members. 

·    Other than agreed-upon festivals, the group does not perform at any outdoor events. 

·    The venue must provide adequate space and seating for the group and the audience.

·    Multiple outlets for plugging in sound equipment and instruments are necessary. 

·    Adequate lighting and adequate parking for the entire group are necessary. 

·    The group must be given approximately two hours before the performance to unload and set up equipment and sound check. 

·   The group must be allowed to perform for at least one hour. Invitations for any lesser amount of time will not be accepted.

·    The group must be allowed 45 minutes to break down and load equipment after the show.

·   One month before a show, the host venue must provide marketing and publicity through their mailing lists, emails, and social media sites.

·   Changing rooms must be provided, as well as restrooms for men and women. 

·   The group does not bring in "sub-groups" to accommodate small venues.

·   Children are welcome at any performance but must be supervised and are not allowed access to the performance area before, during, or after the performance. 

·   If there are any questions about whether a host space is adequate for accommodating the group, an appointed member will make an appointment to assess the venue size.
